Yandex generates such an answer automatically.

Yandex indexes images in standard graphic formats (JPG, PJPG, PNG, GIF, BMP, SVG, PNM, TIFF, WEBP). Background images and images that are revealed using a script are usually not indexed. For hard-to-access content, you can use a Sitemap file.

Various information is used in the search, including text accompanying images.
