Page statistics in search results
You can use Yandex Webmaster to find out how well site pages attract visitors from Yandex search results. This information will help you evaluate the effectiveness of page snippets and make them more informative if necessary.
Yandex Webmaster displays the first 3000 pages that are shown in the top 50 positions in search results.
You can find statistics by navigating to Efficiency → Page statistics.
Available metrics
A variety of metrics can be used for analysis. The following are shown by default:
- Impressions
- Clicks
- CTR
The data is updated daily. The statistics provided in Yandex Webmaster may differ from the data in other Yandex services. For information about calculating and displaying indicators, see Search query analytics.
How you can use page statistics
Find out which site pages are visited most often in a particular region
- Select a region from the list. The list shows the regions where the site was within the first 50 positions in search results at least once. Regions are sorted by number of impressions.
- Sort the data by clicks.
Determine which page snippets are most effective on different user devices
- Select a device type from the All devices list.
- Sort the data by clicks or CTR.
Evaluate the effectiveness of a particular page
There are several ways to specify a page:
Start typing the page URL or select it from the list.
Click the page URL in the report table.
When you view the report for the selected page it will display all metrics available in Yandex Webmaster.
Compare pages by a single metric
Select the metric that you want to build a report on from the list. (for example, average position).
Tip
If you notice that the site position or the number of displays decreased, see how you can find out the reason for changes.

The ratio of the number of clicks on the snippet to the number of its impressions is measured in percent. It can be said that this indicator reflects the attractiveness of the website page snippet.
The site position is the ranking on the Yandex search results page, with the link leading to your site. During the day the site can take different positions for the same search terms, so Yandex Webmaster shows an average value for the entire day.
