This section explains the markup language used in the Wiki legacy editor.
You can no longer create pages using the old editor. However, you can easily convert any existing pages from the legacy editor to the new editor format. For more information, see Switching a page to the new editor format.
A markup language is a set of rules for creating the structure and visual design of text using special characters called markup elements.
Wiki supports additional formatting elements that aren't present in the standard syntax.
