18+ sites are not blocked in «Family mode»

Select the device where you have set up Yandex DNS:

Computer

Restart the internet connection. If the problem persists:

  1. Make a screenshot of the settings you have applied to the device.
  2. Open the command line (Windows) or terminal (Linux, macOS), then enter the following commands:
    • nslookup yandex.ru
    • nslookup yandex.ru 77.88.8.7
    • nslookup adult.pimentium.ru
    • nslookup adult.cepera.ru
  3. If some site fails to open, enter the following commands in addition:
    • nslookup <site URL>
    • nslookup <site URL> 77.88.8.7
  4. Copy the results that you obtained.
  5. Attach a screenshot and the results to the form below and send it to us.
Mobile device

This is normal for mobile Internet, because the service only works for Wi-Fi networks. If the site is available on a Wi-Fi network, disconnect and reconnect to it. If the problem persists, describe the situation in the form below, giving as much detail as possible. Make a screenshot of the settings you have applied to the device and attach it to the form.

Router

Adult sites still available on all your devices?

Yes

Restart the internet connection. If the problem persists, describe it in the form below:

  1. Tell us the details about the problem.
  2. Specify whether you have entered IP addresses in the settings or selected the mode from the list in the interface.
  3. Specify your router's manufacturer and model.
  4. Attach a screenshot of the settings you have applied to the router.
  5. Click Send.

Clean up the cache, delete the cookies and the history in the browser where you have the issue. After this, restart your computer.

Disable data encryption using DNSCrypt:

  1. In the Yandex Browser address bar, type: browser://protect
  2. Under Secure connection, disable Use DNS server for DNSCrypt encryption.
