The Yandex Start app and user data (Android)
When you use the app, Yandex collects data and sends it to its servers. Yandex processes all data in accordance with the Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, and License Agreement for Yandex for Mobile Devices.
To protect your data, please observe these general recommendations for protecting personal information.

The only way to opt out of collecting data which can't be disabled in the app settings or your device's system settings is to delete the Yandex Start app.
Personal data management
When you use Yandex services, you share data with them, such as your search history. We take the protection of this data seriously: our storage facilities comply with SOC 2, which is one of the most rigorous international security standards.
You can manage your personal data on the Manage data page.
- Go to Your data on Yandex and make sure that you're logged in with the correct Yandex ID.
- Click Download data.
- Tap Create archive.
When the archive is ready, Yandex notifies you by email that you can download it. If you don't have a Yandex email, you have to check the archive loading status on the page.

Go to Your data on Yandex and make sure that you're logged in with the correct Yandex ID.

In the Delete data section, click the service name. You'll see a list of all data types that Yandex stores for this service.
Note
If the service you need isn't there, click Other services at the bottom of the list.

Select the line with the data type.

Click Uninstall in the window that opens. If you change your mind about deleting data, tap Cancel.
After deletion, almost all data immediately become unavailable. Yandex will store some types of data for a period of time as is required by law.
