Yandex Start and user data (Android)
When you use the app, Yandex collects data and sends it to its servers. Yandex processes all data according to the terms of the Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, and the Yandex Start for Mobile Devices User License Agreement.
To protect your data, please follow the general guidelines on protecting personal information.

Manage personal data
When you use Yandex services, they save your data, for example, your search queries. We store this data with utmost care and make sure it's well-protected. Our repositories comply with SOC 2, which is one of the most reliable international standards for managing user data.
You can manage your personal data on the Your data on Yandex page.
- Go to Your data on Yandex and make sure that you're logged in with the correct Yandex ID.
- Click Download data.
- Tap Create archive.
When the archive is ready, Yandex notifies you by email that you can download it. If you don't have a Yandex email, you have to check the archive loading status on the page.

The archive is password-protected. To learn how to get a password and open the archive, go to Yandex ID Help.

Go to Your data on Yandex and make sure that you're logged in with the correct Yandex ID.

In the Delete data section, click the service name. You'll see a list of all data types that Yandex stores for this service.
Note
If the service you need isn't there, click Other services at the bottom of the list.

Select the line with the data type.

Click Uninstall in the window that opens. If you change your mind about deleting data, tap Cancel.
After deletion, almost all data immediately become unavailable. Yandex will store some types of data for a period of time as is required by law.
