Search
SmartBox
The SmartBox can help you enter addresses and search for information with Yandex.
- Enter a search query, address, or name of a website in the SmartBox.
- Tap Search.
The app automatically detects whether to show you a site or search results. The results open in a new tab.
Note
If you don't want your search queries and visited websites to be saved in history, enable Incognito mode.
Suggestions
There are search suggestions under the SmartBox. You can tap them to find things faster:
— The most frequent search queries.
— Sites that you've already visited.
Image search
The Yandex app supports visual search: just point the camera at an object or select an image from the device's gallery. The system will recognize objects, show similar images, and suggest where to find more information.
Find on page
- While on the site, tap
to the right of the SmartBox. - Tap Find on page.
- Enter a word or phrase to search for.
The browser shows you all the matching words on the page. To browse the search results, use 
and 
. To close the search, tap 
on the left.
Copy a link
- Tap and hold the link.
- In the context menu, select Copy link.
