Setup example
Let's say you have a section about vehicles (for example, http://www.example.com/vehicles/) on your site with a simple structure (http://www.example.com). It has a subsection about motorcycles: http://www.example.com/vehicles/motorcycles/.
You want to serve ads only in the “vehicles” section, not in the “motorcycles” section. To set up targeting:
-
In the Campaigns tab, select an ad campaign or find one using the search bar.
-
Next to the campaign name, click
→ Targeting or select a campaign and go to Targeting. - Press Add a targeting condition → By Url.
- Select a standard template type.
- In the Acceptable patterns row, enter
http://www.example.com/vehicles/, and in the Excluded patterns row, enter a more specific templatehttp://www.example.com/vehicles/motorcycles/. -
Click Apply and save the targeting criteria.
