Target by gender, age, and income

Targeting by age is based on audience data about visitors to the website.

For targeting by gender, age, and income, Adfox uses the Crypta technology data

by default, this type of targeting is disabled for all campaigns and banners. This means that the campaign is shown to users with any gender, age, and income characteristics. You can enable this targeting type (the age parameter: Enable targeting) and select the values to use in campaign targeting. Once targeting is enabled, you can view a report on impressions for the campaign based on user data.

Keyword targeting is helpful when the list of keywords isn't known in advance. For example, search queries entered on a website can be used as keywords.

Target by user characteristics

Targeting by user characteristics is a type of targeting where the characteristics for selecting the target audience are determined by the Adfox client. Every characteristic contains a set of values that represent what the website knows about the page or its visitor. The targeting values are transferred from the site using the ad tag.

To set up targeting, enable the characteristic and add a list of values.

In the ad tag, add a value or a list of values separated by a colon to the puidN parameter, where N is the characteristic number from 1 to 63, to select campaigns targeted by these values.
