The Museum of Belarusian Folk Art.The entrance is quite symbolic, the museum in the building of the former kassel is very beautiful right on the territory of the Raubichi complex, the museum is located on a hill where there is an observation deck, the view is beautiful. The main exposition itself is very worthy, now there was an additional exposition I am Belarus - the exposition is given in a small room, the sculptures are very sincere, the sculptor is the most impressive, it was interesting for us to visit once. Of the disadvantages, cash is needed, there is no terminal, which is not warned anywhere, neither on the poster nor on the museum's website, the terminal is certainly worth doing. And so who misses the woven bedspreads of our beloved great-grandmothers, a lot of beautiful ceramics, national costumes and towels, kufars, there are very large amazing products from straw. It was interesting, it won't take much time.
A very interesting museum is located in the church building. The exposition is not large, but it is diverse. Be sure to take a guided tour. A wonderful guide told us a lot about the history of the church, Belarus, folk crafts, and art. 1.5 hours flew by unnoticed. By the way, the museum hosts concerts, performances, workshops and modern exhibitions. It is important to pay only in cash.
A wonderful place, located in the former church of St. Matthew. When the commune wanted to demolish the church, but the architects during the construction of the sports complex convinced the management to restore it and give it to the museum. A good collection of folk art exhibits. I have loved this place since childhood: when you go from Minsk to Raubichi, the roof of the church is visible under the springboard on a wooded mountain and the soul rejoices at the beauty!
