Step 3. Moderation

Note. Here and further in this section the names of elements in the Russian-language version of the store account and their exact translations into English are shown. Interface texts are translated automatically when switching to the English version, so they change from time to time and may not match the translated names on this page.

Before connecting a store to Yandex.Market, we check that the store meets all the service's requirements and can be placed on Yandex.Market. To submit a store for verification, on the page Подключение (“Connecting to Yandex.Market”) click Отправиться на модерацию (“Submit for moderation”). If there is no button, then you haven't completed the configuration.

How to pass moderation

The quality control service verifies that stores meet the following requirements of Yandex.Market:

  • The price list is assembled correctly and contains up-to-date information.

  • The store doesn't duplicate another store.

  • The store doesn't sell prohibited products.

  • The store's website can be accessed and doesn't contain viruses.

  • The site displays the correct prices for products, as well as the correct delivery cost and delivery period.

  • Orders can be placed on the site.

  • The store confirms orders within 1 hour, either by phone, SMS, or email. (The store's hours of operation are taken into account.) For more information about order confirmation, see Store requirements.

How to successfully pass moderation

Temporary suspension of moderation

Control service employees may temporarily suspend moderation to request any of the following:

  • Licenses or other documents needed for the placement of some products.
  • Documents regarding the registration of the store with the state.

You will receive a message about the suspension in your store account and by email. Send the required documents within 10 days.

How to find out about results

You will receive an email within two business days. The letter will include the following:

  • The verification result.

  • A list of all errors and advice on how to fix them.

Repeated moderation

After you correct the errors

Once you have fixed all the errors, submit your store for a repeated verification. This can be done on the page Проверки → Отчёт об ошибках качества (“Checks → Quality error report”), in the notification section.

You are given six attempts to pass moderation. An attempt is counted every time you submit your store for review.

Tip. If you find yourself unable to submit your store for verification, see the message about your moderation results. The message explains why your store is unable to connect to Yandex.Market. If you don't agree with the refusal, contact the Support service.
After disconnection from Yandex.Market

Your store is submitted for moderation an additional time in the following has occurred:

  • The store disconnected itself from Yandex.Market for 30 days or more.

  • The quality control service disconnected the store from Yandex.Market for any period of time.
